Nature Enhances Creativity
If people are more outgoing and focus on the real, I believe creativity will have the chance to blossom. Creativity comes when the mind and its thinking are not distracted by the use of technology because don’t we always try to entertain ourselves when technology is not around? Richard Louv reveals in the article “Is Creativity Endangered?” that creativity is NOT endangered, and we are all just simply, “suffering from a broken connection with nature.” Louv believes nature enhances our creativeness because we have the ability to learn more when we are out exploring the world than staying indoors with a phone glued to our hands, and I agree with his point of view. Nature is always there when we need it, but is seems like we have abandoned nature. The fact that we have a broken connection with nature and that critics are wondering if creativity is endangered reveals nature might be the key to creativity. Louv mentions of a study that young people who were immersed in nature had a 50% increase in creativity which forms a solid argument that nature is the solution to bring creativity back to life. With this thought, new career paths will form to help ignite creativity into the world and have a sense of what it is like to be in a “nature-rich civilization.”

I agree that nature enhances creativity and stimulates the mind, and today we as a whole are not exposed to enough of the natural state of things. Instead, we are trapped in cities of cement and cellphones. In nature, as in the case of, let's say, camping, there is no wifi, no cell service, and nothing that really weighs on the mind. This causes the mind to work, and I believe that a "nature rich" society would indeed be beneficial.
