Some people find the future to be frightening and others find it exciting. The growth of technology has made human's lives much easier compared to decades ago. Technology has even affected the lives of dogs as it becomes easier for them as well.
GPS collars, new sophisticated dog homes, and mechanical feeders have been made. A way to "Decode Dog Talk" is under development. There is even a way to play with your dog online when you aren't home with them. There are apps to tell someone how long to walk their dogs, how much to feed them, and how to train puppies. Samsung has made a dog house that cost $30,000 that has: a tablet, treadmill, a snack dispenser, and a hot tub. A new vest allows dogs to call 911 in case of an emergency by chewing or pulling a rope with their mouths. The National Science foundation gave a grant to researchers to come up with new technology for dogs.
So what are your thoughts about this? Is it worth spending money on new inventions for everyday dogs or should we focus on new techniques for service animals?
