The Robot's own language

           As I was reading through different articles about different topics I came across an article titled The Telegraphy. The websites and article began to mention the new chatbots people may now use on facebook to communicate. The facebook company brought out this idea with the help of scientist in which whom created  two A.I programs used to generate a new form of interaction. On the other hand there were some downsides with this course of action which involved these robots beginning to speak their own language.which came as know surprise to me because at the same time both A.I programmed  robots Alice and Bob were being instructed and trained on how to negotiate between themselves in order to learn how to communicate with us humans. Both robots were being taught to speak the english language but frankly had trouble doing so. Scientist Mark Zuckerberg one of the developers of the A.I programs began to realize some phrases and odd communication between both Alice and Bob. For example if they said the word “the” more than five times they were asking for something. In the meantime Facebook along with the help of the robot creators were trying to shut the robots down.They shut both programs down because of it becoming  a threat to us humans. This  made the developers far more scared of what robots are capable of especially if they can create their own language.  Soon enough they were able to shut down both robots and the communication system facebook used known as chatbot. Furthermore as I was Finishing the article is didnt clarify how much money was invested into this idea and that concerned me. What really concerned me about this whole article is how much money was invested in this idea.  This is because we are investing money into things that are only going to make this life much more dangerous than it already is. Meanwhile the money that was placed into this idea could have been used for a much more useful cause such as cancer or other diseases that have no cure. Instead money went toward something so ignorant such as a way to make it easier for people to  interact thus  causing a bigger situation. That being Alice and Bob creating their own robotic language.
