Technology is Great

          It seems as if most people think technology is some evil force. People who rely on technology are looked down upon, but is technology really that bad? Technology gives us access to information, entertainment, and other people. Over the years, technology and itsuses have grown. This has helped our society advanced greatly.
          Not too long ago, we got all our information from books. This was often time consuming because people had to look for the books they needed then continue to look for the answer to the question they had. Before that, information was spread by word of mouth. When books were introduced, people most likely didn't tell others to stop relying on books or go back to their old ways of spreading information. If this is true, then why are we told to stop depending on technology and to go back to using books?
         Our access to entertainment has also increased. We can play games, watch movies, or listen to music. Videos on YouTube allow us to learn new hobbies or how to do new things. These help prevent us from being bored at times.
       Technology also helps keep people more connected. Social media allows people to show their friends what they are doing or share their interests. Texting, calling, or video chatting allows us to talk to people instantly. I believe technology is make us more social than we were before.
          Overall, people should stop bashing on technology. It helps or entertains us in our everyday lives. Technology is helping our society grow and I hope it keeps improving.
